Santa Fe Opera

This summer we were lucky enough to go to the Santa Fe Opera house to see La Bohème by Puccini.
I had never been to the Opera before so I was really excited. I have been to a lot of musicals but never a real opera house. If you have never been to the Santa Fe Opera I would REALLY recommend it. It is a beautiful out door opera house. It is covered but is opened on the sides.
It is beautiful!
One of the best parts of the evening was the tailgating. The Opera house has a tradition of tailgating right before the Opera. There are people who bring fine China, Candle sticks, fine linen table cloths, the whole nine yards.
We didn't go quite that far but we did have an amazing dinner on a picnic table right next to our car. We had a beautiful BBQ picnic dinner with a little sparkling apple cider to top it off! It was amazing.
We went with my mother and father-in-law,
my beautiful sisters-in-law,
us,
and some good family friends the Andersons.
It was an amazing night full of amazing company and beautiful singing.
