HAPPY BIRTHDAY ISAAC!

I can't believe it has been a year already since Isaac was born! I am always amazed while I am pregnant how fast a baby is formed in 9 months. It is truly miraculous. However, I am just as amazed at how much they grow in the first year. He has gone from this:
To this:In just on short year. So here are some stats on our little boy:
he weighs about 20lbs (very near it at least);
he is 28in tall;
He can say momma and dadda;
points to things he wants;
and loves to throw things;
he has 8 very, VERY sharp teeth;
He is a monkey
He can whistleHe LOVES hatsHe is now walkingSorry for that horrible picture. I have video but I don't like loading it through blogger so I will get them up in another post. He started last Tuesday and took 9 steps. The next day he took 13, and has continued mastering this latest skill.

He got his first hair cut. This is the best picture I could find to show how crazy his hair was before (he is eating his first pickle)
I had been considering doing it for several days and one day after his bath I just decided to do it. How hard could it be, right? I need to perfect little boy haircuts now, so I may as well start.
It was long on top, around the ears, and on the neck.
It may have been long but it was so cute. This picture doesn't show how long around his ears it actually was, because it got curly when it got long.
I was nervous, and some of it is a little crooked, but you can't tell. I was very happy with how it turned out.
After sitting for so long it was hard to get him to stand still so these pictures were the best I could get.
I was surprised in the end how much hair I actually cut off.
As for other stats . . . well he is just really cute :)
For his birthday we had a few friends over and our friend Laci made him 2 birthday cakes.
She has been in a baking mood lately so I gladly relinquished this task to her.
He loves his adopted Aunt Lindsay

Laci's cakes were awesome!

The presents were awesome!
He had two days of opening presents and I must say his favorite ones were all of the balls he got. He got a football from his girlfriend Bella,
a hat from Aunt Lindsay,
and 10 more balls from Aunt Maria and Uncle Isaac.
These he was so excited about. After opening them he didn't want to play with anything else!
A hammer and pegs from Mommy, Daddy, and Olivia
Sunglasses from Aunt Lacey and Uncle William
He also got clothes (which were my favorite presents) and other toys as well. It is hard to take pictures of a one-year-old opening presents. They just don't really understand what is going on.

Anyway, he had a wonderful birthday. Thanks to everyone who was kind enough to think of him and give him something on his birthday! Here is to another year!!!

I can't believe how big both of them are! Olivia is such a little girl, and he is well on his way to becoming an adorable little boy:) I'm alittle jealous that he can whistle and I still can't... but whatever!
